A Moving Story

For the past twenty years, Manhattan has been home to the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, a specialty nursing facility devoted to changing the lives of medically fragile children.

The Center will be moving to a magnificent new State-of-the-Art fully “green” building, located on six and a half sprawling wooded acres in Yonkers, New York.

Employees and children alike are overjoyed. Aside from the added space and rustic beauty, there are plans for many other exciting features: outdoor play areas and therapy gardens, fifteen classrooms, a gym, a chapel/meditation room, an aquatic therapy center and The Big Dipper Café.  The design inside the facility is warm and residential rather than institutional – words like “cozy” and “comfortable” come to mind.
